Richard E. Rush, Sr. passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. 

He was born August 23, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH to Cassius Edgar, Jr. and Lucy 
Pauline Roy Rush and was a long time resident of Bonita Springs, FL before 
moving to reside in Mandeville, LA.

The beloved husband of the late Joyce Zinser Rush, he is survived by his 
sister, Elizabeth Ann Rush; one aunt, Georgia Hortin; two children, Kristen 
Rush Trosclair (Donald P., Jr.) and Richard E. Rush, Jr. (Connie); their 
mother, Janeen Jensen; two step children, David Davis and Nikki Davis Zink; 
four grandchildren: Allana Marie and Kayla Ann Rush, Gabrielle Corine and 
Ashton Michael Trosclair.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service 
at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 1:30 PM.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Richard’s wishes were for those dearest to him to take 
their families out to dinner and to remember him at that time with a smile.
