Michael “Mickey” Paul Simon passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012.

Beloved father of Matthew Paul Simon, Christopher Michael Simon and Elizabeth 
Marie Simon. Brother of Denis Edgard Simon III, Jules Anthony Simon and Bruce 
Eugene Simon. Former husband of Saundra Bertucci Simon. Son of the late Denis 
Edgard Simon, Jr. and Yvonne Oulliber Simon.

Age 57 years. A native of Covington and a resident of Covington, LA for the 
past year.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from 
E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on 
Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Visitation from 1:00 PM until service 
time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

Mickey attended LSU and remained an avid fan for the rest of his life. In lieu 
of flowers, the family would prefer donations in memory of Michael P. Simon to 
LSU Health Sciences Center Foundation C/O LSUHSC School of Nursing, attn. Mr. 
Geremie Loupe-4th Floor, 1900 Gravier St., New Orleans, LA 70112.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of St. Tammany 
Parish Hospital for their loving care and compassion of Mickey.
