The Slidell native of Methodist faith supported, along with her husband, a state department foreign service diplomat, the efforts of the U. S. Agency for International Development for more than 20 years, spending many years in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Caribbean. During that time, she was very active in supporting both educational and recreational activities for American community schools overseas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Velma Stevens and Leroy Farrow, and sister, Wilma LaRoche. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles “Charlie” G. Warren Sr.; sons, Charles G. Warren Jr., Dr. R. Michael Warren, and Stephen C. Warren and his wife, Joi; granddaughter, Lauren E. Warren; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Judy Farrow, and sister, Elizabeth Carroll. Graveside funeral services will be Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. with burial following at New Palestine Cemetery, 2500 Palestine Road, Picayune, Miss. ===================
