She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lt. Col. Edward Lloyd Bottom; her father, Robert Joseph Alleman; her mother, Hazel Sanchez Alleman; and a brother, Everette Joseph Alleman. Beloved mother of Susan Bottom Danos, Jill Bottom Cockerham Keppel and Lezlee Bottom Theo; loving grandmother of Clay E. Cockerham, Ashley M. Cockerham, Courtney Danos Brown, Alicia K. Danos, Lindsey N. Theo and Grant B. Theo; great-grandmother of Colton E. Cockerham, Carter J. Cockerham and Caroline Celeste Brown; mother-in-law of Thomas F. Danos and Pete G. Theo; and sister to Joyce Alleman Trace. A beloved mother who was devoted to her grandchildren, she was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 50 years. Doris was an avid golfer and participated in many state and local golf tournaments and received many awards in championship flight. She was a member of Tchefuncte Country Club and Covington Country Club where she was ladies club champion for a number of years. A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations to the charity of your choice. ===================
