Larry was a retired salesman who served on the Covington City Council in the 1960s. While on the Council, he called attention to the Ox Lots dedicated in the original charter establishing the city of Covington and their value as a source parking relief needed in the growth of the town and spearheaded a move to build a by-pass to relief traffic congestion on the streets of Covington. He had a love of history and politics – especially Covington politics. He loved to tell stories of his past, had a very colorful personality and was truly one of a kind. Larry leaves behind his companion of 25 years, Skippy Hyde Casey. Loving father of 5 daughters - Barbara Bradley Hebert, Belinda (Lindy) Bradley Stonecypher, Samantha Bradley Costello, Nancy Bradley Phillips and Pamela Bradley Knapp. Devoted grandfather to Jason Sameluk, Chad Sameluk, Christopher Stonecypher, Cullen Catania, Isabella Bairnsfather, Olivia Phillips, Ian Bairnsfather and Alexander Phillips. Great-grandfather of Juniper Sameluk. His daughter Bethel Marie Bradley, his parents James Allen Bradley and Myrtle O’Keefe Bradley preceded him in death. Larry was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and is survived by his brothers James A. Bradley, Jr., Jared W. Bradley and G. Wayne Bradley. He was a devoted friend to Nicole and Freddie Casey. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Garden of the Pines Cemetery in Covington. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Children’s Advocacy Center, P.O. Box 1852 Covington, LA 70434. U.S. Veteran ===================
