Robert John Bruno, Jr., was born on September 1, 1986, and died on September 
21, 2012.

He was well loved by his parents, Bobby and Maryann, and his siblings 
Elizabeth, Adrienne, and Jamie and beautiful sweetheart, Laine Woodruff, and 
brother-in-law Chris Hatcher and dozens of cousins and aunts and uncles and 
grandparents and too many friends to count.

Robbie was a graduate of Mandeville High School and Loyola University and was a 
law student at Southern University in Baton Rouge. Last year Robbie proudly 
completed the Camino de Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimmage (also known as The 
Way of St James) a several hundred mile walking meditation through northern 
Spain. He will be remembered by all as a charming, wonderful, and kind person.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at E. 
J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on 
Tuesday, September 25, beginning at 11am and will be followed by a funeral mass 
at 2pm at the St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, LA 70457. 

Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Joseph Abbey in 
memory of Robert.
