JOSEPH CERNIGLIA, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 
his home.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Edwards Cerniglia.
Father of Marion C. Madore and husband Richard and Mary Christine C. Johansen 
and husband Kai.
Son of the late George Cerniglia and Irene Polizzi Cerniglia.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren; Eric S. Madore, Christopher D. Chavers and 
Charlotte E. Stevenson and 7 great grandchildren.

Age 86 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 54 
years. 
Joseph served his coutry during WWII as a Merchant Marine.

All services are being held privately.
