Adrian “A.D.” Darby Sr., 46, of Covington died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.

Survivors include his mother, Yvonne Darby Palmer; brothers and sisters-in-law, 
Edmund and Cheryl Russell, Joseph and Freda Darby, Michael Darby, Paul and 
Francine Darby and Oscar Darby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Regina and Sheldon 
Demas, Carla Darby and Bobbie and Charles Biggers; a niece, Arian Chatman, and 
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death 
by his father, Joseph Darby Sr.; wife, Caroline Crockett Darby, and son, Adrian 
Darby Jr.

He was employed for nine years at Hercules Offshore Drilling.

Funeral services will be Oct. 1 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 
a.m., at Faith Bible Church, 1148 N. Columbia St., in Covington, with the Rev. 
Alfred Young officiating. 

Interment will follow in White Settlement Cemetery, Covington,.
