The Army National Guard helicopter pilot was a Federal Aviation Administration aviation safety inspector assigned to UPS Inc., flying various jet aircraft. The 30-year military veteran’s rank was chief warrant officer four. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marion Dahn DeVine, and is survived by his wife of 44 years, Claudia Whitehurst DeVine; sons and daughter- in-law, Jeffrey and Serena DeVine and Brad DeVine; grandchildren, Savannah and Tristan DeVine, and a host of family and friends. A life celebration will be Sept. 13 at 12:30 p.m., with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m., at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi, Miss. Burial will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery. ===================
