The woman known for her zest for live and love of family and friends was a Madisonville resident for the past 8 years, having previously lived in Goodbee for 33 years and New Orleans for 50 years. She attended St. John’s Catholic Church and was an Ozone Square Dance Club member. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Stephen Lagarde, Judith and Kenneth Leggett and Raylene Avocato; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Russell and Debi Avocato, Anthony and Brandy Avocato, Nicklas and Lisa Avocato, Vincent and Yvonne Avocato, Edward Joseph Moore, Todd Moore, Rachael Lagarde Bordelon, Andrew and Rebecca Lagarde Roberts and16 great-grandchildren, Collin, Hailee and Chloe Avocato, Tyler and Trevor Avocato, Alyssa, Holly and Caden Avocato, Cyrus and Troy Avocato, Brandon Moore, Robert and Alex Moore, Asher, Maren and Tavin Bordelon, and niece and nephew, JoAnn Carlton and Mark Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raymond Herbez Ermert; parents, Joseph Christian Miller Sr., and Anna Kenner Miller, and brother, Joseph C. Miller Jr. The Mass will be Sept. 15 at noon, with visitation for family starting at 9 a.m. and friends at 9:30 a.m., with burial following at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to Hospice Compassus, Slidell, or a favorite charity. ===================
