MELBA GLEASON, 84, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, in 
Slidell.

Beloved wife of the late Dennis John Gleason;
Mother of Steven Gleason (wife Rhonda), Kenneth Gleason, Sharon Williams 
(husband Richard), and Shelley Smith (husband Clifton);
Daughter of the late Doyle and Gladys Parmer;
Sister of Dr. J.C. Parmer;
Also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren..

A native of Archer City, Texas, and a resident of Slidell for the past 40 
years, Mrs. Gleason was an RN at Slidell Memorial Hospital through the 1970’s, 
and was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Church .

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Catholic Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
