Barbara “ Bobbie” Landry Navarre, 81, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012.

She was the wife of the late Michael L. Navarre Sr; mother and mother-in-law of 
Michael and Linda Navarre Jr., Patrick and Catherine Navarre, Jean Ann and Rick 
Miller and the late Emile Navarre; daughter of the late Anatole Landry and 
Emily Chauvin Landry Schwarzenbach; stepdaughter of Robert “Lee” Schwarzenbach, 
and sister of Shirley Geagan, Madonna Boos and Robert Landry. Survivors also 
include six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and 
nephews.

The Algiers native lived in Mandeville for the past 39 years. She had been an 
employee of Sunbeam Bakery in New Orleans for 28 years and former owner of the 
Ozone Motel in Mandeville.

The funeral Mass will be Sept. 18 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 
a.m., at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 395 Lafitte St., Mandeville. 

Interment will follow in Mandeville City Cemetery.
