Navo passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the age 94. Beloved husband of Marguerite H. Navo for 71 years. He was born in New Orleans and was a long time resident of Chalmette, LA until 2005. He was a resident of Mandeville. Mr. Navo is also survived by his two sons Lawrence R. Navo and his wife Alice B. Navo of Mandeville, LA and Daniel J. Navo and his wife Erin H. Navo of Marietta, Ga. Loving grandfather of Kerri N. Duggan and her husband Andrew Duggan of Richardson, TX, Jason Navo of Nashville, TN, Christopher Navo and his wife Chelsea A. Navo of Mableton, GA, Kathryn N. Starowicz and her husband Scott Starowicz of Mableton, GA. Also survived by his sister Margaret N. Spreen and her husband Donald Spreen of Covington, LA and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Navo served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was the owner of Larry’s Upholstery in Chalmette, LA. He was an avid gardener, model railroader and baker. Affectionately known by family and friends as “Law”, “PawPaw”, “Larry” or “Harry”. He loved to play the piano for and with them. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
