DON MICHAEL OFFNER, age 59 years, of Slidell, LA died peacefully at his home 
surrounded by his family, on Thursday, August 30, 2012.

Beloved Husband and best friend of Lori Lyons Offner for the past 35 years.
Son of the late Beverly L. and Elvis Offner.
Son-in-law of Joe and Dottie Lyons.
Father of Don Offner, Jr.(Melanie) and Joell Offner,.
Brother of Deitra Freeman(Drayton), Cheryl Hammond and Craig Offner.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Blake Thonn, Colin Thonn and Madison Offner.

He was retired from Lockheed Martin after 27 years and was employed by Southern 
Tire Mart in Harahan. 

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. McElveen, his staff, along 
with the staff of Notre Dame Hospice.

He will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral
Mass at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.

Interment in Hope Mausoleum.

Visitation on Friday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Donations to the American Cancer Society or Notre Dame Hospice, preferred, in 
lieu of flowers.
