Patricia Enace Pierre, 74, a lifelong Lacombe resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 
2012.

The St. Tammany High School graduate was employed for 34 years at the Lacombe 
Nursing Home before retiring as the patient activity director. She was a devout 
parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lacombe and a member of the 
Krewe of Chahta, The Homemaker’s Club and Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s St. 
Joseph’s Altar Committee.

She was the mother and mother-in-law of Juanesta Ducre Johnson and Roosevelt 
Ross Jr., and Althea Ducre, all of Lacombe; grandmother of Christy, Eddie, and 
Jordan and great-grandmother of Jaylyn and Liam; sister of Emelda Pierre 
Charles of Gretna; sister-in-law of Ruby Survine Pierre of Shreveport, and aunt 
to a host of nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by brothers, Nelson Pierre and William Pierre Jr.; a 
sister, Olivia Pierre McAfee, and parents, William and Anita Batiste Pierre Sr.

A Mass will be Sept. 15 at 11 a.m., with visitation at 9 a.m., at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Lacombe. 

Burial will follow in William Cemetery No. 2.

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany, Covington, is handling arrangements.
