Sheridan, born April 29, 1928, peacefully entered into her eternal home on September 3, 2012. There she joined her loving husband of 52 years, Richard W. Sheridan, and her beloved daughter, Rebecca Diane Sheridan. She is the daughter of the late Thomas C. Cooper and Dessie M. Cooper of DeKalb, Texas and sister of the late Marvelle Walker. Clovis is the beloved mother of Deborah Skevington and mother-in-law of David Skevington. She is further survived by her sisters Bobbie Welch of Dallas, Texas and Clara Chandler of Liberty Hill, Texas. She is the grandmother of Amanda Kloeper, Kathryn Anticich, Katie Shocker, and Jennifer Persick. Clovis has four great-grandchildren: Kaylyn Kloeper, Eric Kloeper, Nadia Anticich and Luke Anticich. A former resident of Florissant, Missouri, she moved to Slidell in 1997. A homemaker, her home was filled with the scent of vanilla, cinnamon and baking bread. She loved cooking and oil painting. The sound of music echoed from room to room as she played her piano. While the scents and sounds are gone, the memories will always remain. She is not dead, she is just away. An angel came down from above gathering the buds and flowers we love. She has been transplanted to bloom in the Lord’s bouquet. Private Funeral Services were held in Slidell, Louisiana. Mrs. Sheridan will be intered next to her husband in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. ===================
