Doris McCaskill Thornton passed on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the age of 
82.

Loving mother of Donna Maricelli, Rhonda Maricelli, James R. Thornton, Marty 
Hines and Sandra Mulkey. Beloved daughter of the late Lilly Mae Jones McCaskill 
and J.R. McCaskill. Sister of Betty Rorie and the late Frances Rorie and Larry 
McCaskill. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at The Pentecostals of Lee Road Community, 17700 Hwy 40, Covington, LA 70435 on 
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM with visitation at church on Monday 
evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Lee Road United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
