BARTET, JOHN JOSEPH, SR.

October 9, 1931 - October 31, 2012

JOHN J. BARTET, SR., of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 
at the Guest House of Slidell.

Beloved husband of the late Marlene Sander Bartet.
Father of Jace Bartet, and the late John Bartet, Jr., and Raymond Bartet.
Son of the late Louis and Mildred Bartet.
Brother of Sylvia Bodenheimer, Phyllis Nowack and the late Joan Assunto and 
Gloria Buechner.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren; Jack Bartet, III, Raymond Bartet, Jr., Jessie 
Bartet, Jessica Bartet, Jace Bartet, and Courtney Bartet and 8 great 
grandchildren.

Age 81 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since the late 
1970’s. 
He was a retired Derrick Foreman for T-Smith Inc. of New Orleans.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 3:00pm. Visitation will be from 1:00pm 
until 3:00pm.

Donations to: Lakeshore Hospice, 2000 N. Causeway Blvd., Mandeville, LA 70471 
is preferred, in lieu of flowers.
