Karla Pistorius Bordes, my Angel and best friend, passed away on Friday, 
October 5, 2012 at the age of 58.

Beloved wife of 39 years to David M. Bordes, Sr. Loving mother of David, Jr 
(Shannon), Charlie (Jessica) and Chad Bordes (Tiffany). Daughter of Sally 
VonBehren Pistorius Couvillion and the late Samuel Pistorius. Sister of Pamela 
Pistorius Meyer (Donnie), Sarah Pistorius Hance (Tim), and Anne Pistorius Hunt 
(Ron). Grandmother of David, Chloe and Brody Bordes.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Karla loved life and 
spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at 
E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, 
October 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday from 9:00 AM until 
service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. Bordes 
to be made to The New Orleans Fire Fighters Association 3520 General DeGaulle 
Drive, Suite 3001, New Orleans, Louisiana 70114.
