Carl Joseph Bourgeois, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.

Beloved husband of 66 years to Avis Goldate Bourgeois; loving father of C.J. 
Bourgeois, Jr. (Trudy), Paul Bourgeois (Cheryl), Lana B. Cronvich (Jim) and Jan 
B. Fisher (Mark); brother of Gladys Charbonnet and Elaine Charbonnet. He is 
also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded 
in death by his mother, Alcide Rome Bourgeois; his father, Levian Bourgeois; 
three sisters and three brothers.

Age 86 years, a native of Ponchatoula, LA and a resident of Madisonville, LA 
for more than 65 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the Funeral mass at St. 
Anselm’s Catholic Chruch, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA 70447 on 
Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation AT THE CHURCH will begin at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at Theodore Dendenger Cemetery in Madisonville, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Recreational District 
14 for the specific use at Coquille Sports Complex, 13505 Hwy 1085, Covington, 
LA
