Viola was the daughter of the late Rufus and Leona Jacques. Viola was preceded in death by her husband Eugene J. Swann Senior, the father of her two daughters, and her husband Gerald F. Carron and her daughter Ellen Swann. Also preceding her in death were her siblings Eugene East Senior, Myrtle Clement, Louis Jacques, Helen Brandt, and Joseph Jacques. She is survived by her daughter Betty Swann Pumphrey and her husband Robert “Toby”Pumphrey, her granddaughter Jennifer Pumphrey Navarro (Julio) and grandson Joshua Bogil. Members of her honorary family include the Swanns of Pearl River , the Carrons of Texas and Florida. She was also survived by the loves of her life Sam and Gabe Navarro. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews. Viola was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and the very best grandmother and great grandmother. The families she leaves behind will miss her immensely. She somehow possessed the ability of bringing all her extended family together. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 28088 Main Street, in Lacombe LA, on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Lakeshore Hospice 2659 N. Causeway Blvd Mandeville, La 70471 or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis,Tennessee 38105. ===================
