LUCILLE GIVEANS FRANCIS, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 
at her home.

Beloved wife of the late Harold Leaming by first marriage and the late Ernest 
Francis, Sr. by second marriage.
Mother of Harold Leaming, Jr., Jade Leaming Stan, Ernest Francis, Jr., Louis 
Francis and Robert Francis.
Daughter of the late Isadore and Ilda Wolkert Giveans.
Also survived by her brother and sister Isadore Giveans, Jr. and Althea Heaphy; 
16 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Age 98 years; a native of New Orleans, a longtime former resident of Arabi and 
a resident of Slidell since 1995. She was a member of the Arabi D.A.V., Slidell 
Senior Center and Church of Faith, Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at Church of Faith, 61305 Airport Rd., Slidell, LA 70460 on Friday, October 5, 
2012 at 11:00am. 
Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00am. 

Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
