Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Juliette Lorraine Michel Gilbertson, foster and adopted child, Jessie Michael Gilbertson; stepchild, Daniel Joseph Rockvoan III, and sister-in-law, Michelle Michel, and nephew, Marc Evans Mouton, both of Dothan, Ala. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane Ruffin of Hot Springs, Ark., and Lee Gilbertson of North Dakota. He had been a resident of Houston, Hot Springs, Ark.; New Orleans and Baton Rouge and St Tammany Parish and graduated high school in the same class with former President Bill Clinton. He was a talented musician and singer with various bands in the 1960s and owner and manager of Cosmos II in the French Quarter in the 1970s. He worked for the New Orleans Cigarette & Amusement Company and as a hearing aid specialist for Billtone Hearing Services and salesman and assistant manager for several automotive dealerships before retirement. The former Arkansas Razorbacks college football player was an avid Saints and LSU fan. A private service for family, close friends and former coworkers will be Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1633 Louisiana Highway 1085, Covington ===================
