Harold Allen Lacy Sr., 77, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.

Survivors include his former wife, Sandra L. Lacy of Missouri; children and 
their spouses, Sherri L. and Dale Lange of Minnesota, Kimberley S. Hammell of 
Missouri, Stephanie R. Odom of Mississippi, and Harold A. and Teresa Lacy Jr. 
of Louisiana; grandchildren and a spouse, Seth A. and Marisa Conlin of Georgia; 
Lorel N. and Blaine V. Christensen of Minnesota; Rachel M. and Brandon A. Lacy 
of Louisiana, and Nicole A. and Nicolas A. Odom of Missouri. 

The native of Memphis, Tenn., was in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and 
lived in Arkansas, where he was a shoe manufacturing plant foreman. He moved 
his family to Chalmette and worked as a tankerman in New Orleans for the AMAX 
Nickel Refinery and as a foreman in Braithwaite. He also was a supervisor for 
Schwegmann Supermarkets in Slidell, and in his later years, for Wal-Mart.

The man who loved his family, cooking out, camping and fishing lived in Steele, 
Mo., where he will be cremated.
