Cherie Ann Deroche Meyers, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Beloved wife of William (Bill) Meyers.
Mother of Miranda Meyers.
Daughter of Ed Deroche and the late Sandra Deroche.
Grand-daughter of the late Zenobia and Gilbert Deroche and Emily and Alcide 
Louque.
Sister of Brandy Deroche.
Stepdaughter of Maria Deroche.
Stepsister of Carl and Renata Scala.
Niece of Judy Nunez and Willie Gebhard.
Aunt of Kade and Zane Prejean.
Godmother of Haley Faciane.

Lifelong resident of Chalmette, LA until Hurricane Katrina at which time she 
moved to Pearl River, LA.
She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and Charity/Delgado School of 
Nursing.
She worked at Chalmette Medical Center, Louisiana Heart Hospital and most 
recently at Fairway Medical Center as the Director of Surgical Services. She 
was a dedicated nurse who was compassionate and empathetic. She worked full 
time up until one month prior to her death.

She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October 2008 and since had been 
actively participating in Charity work for Breast Cancer awareness. 
She was dedicated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure, to which 
donations would be appreciated.
