SCHMIDT

Eva John Schmidt of Texas and a longtime Covington resident died Sunday, Oct. 
21, 2012.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Mark and Joyce Schmidt 
and John Wood Schmidt; grandchildren, Emily McIntyre, April Montalbano, Bonnie 
Schmidt, Melissa Schmidt, Robbie Sweet and Brittany Schmidt and nine great- 
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her siblings, C.D., Ray and Tommy Sparks, Beth 
Ewing and Ruth Daniel, and children, Kirk Allen Gullett and Cindy Schmidt and 
was the daughter of the late John Clade Sparks and Emma Belle Sparks.

Arrangements will be announced later.
