VARACALLE, DOMINIC JOSEPH, SR.
April 24, 1919 - October 10, 2012

DOMINIC J. VARACALLE, SR., of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, October 
10, 2012 at home.

Beloved husband of the late Winifred S. Varacalle.
Father of Dominic J. Varacalle, Jr. Jessica V. Karet, Maria V. Frost and the 
late David J. Varacalle.
Also survived by 5 grandchildren; Jill Barraza, Phillip McNeely, Andrew Frost, 
Jessica Farlow and Anthony Frost ; and 7 great grandchildren, Alexis, Alura, 
Dillon, Sean, Genesee, Cole, and Kadence.

Age 93 years; a native of Baltimore, MD and a resident of Slidell for the past 
36 years. Mr. Varacalle was a retired Aeronautical Engineer for Martin 
Marietta. 
He was a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and member and avid 
golfer at Pinewood Country Club.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA on Tuesday, 
October 16, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 10:30am until 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Donations to Notre Dame Hospice, 113 Christian Lane, Slidell, LA 70458 is 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
