MINNIE L. WALKER, of Slidell, LA, paased away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 
her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Creekmore by first marriage and William “Bill” 
Walker by second marriage.
Mother of Edward Creekmore, Bobby Sylvester, John William, Carol Daigle and the 
late Robert and Tony Creekmore and (stillborn) Baby Creekmore.
Daughter of the late Ellis W. Starnes and Bessie Harrison Starnes.
Sister of James “Jimmy” Starnes and the late Anthony and Bufford Starnes.
Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Age 82 years; a native of McComb, MS and a resident of Slidell since 1982. She 
was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church and was a Lady Elk and member of 
B.O.P.E. Lodge, Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 
10:00am until 12:00pm.
