Survivors include her children and their spouses, Lillie and Mark Sylvester, Leonard and Diane Abram Sr., of Jacksonville, Fla., Larry and Marie Abram of Slidell, and Herman Abram, Glenda and Ronald McDougle of Picayune, Miss., and Patricia and Willie Wilson of Slidell; a sister, Juanita Parker-Bright; loving friend, Ruby Badon, and 31 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge Parker and Celestine Ducre- Parker; husband of 61 years, Earlmon Abram Jr.; siblings, Genevieve, Gustavia, Leonard and Clarence; brother-in-law, Jasper Bright Sr.; daughter-in-law, Deborah Brown Abram, and a great-nephew and three great-grandchildren. Known as a happy, fun, energetic, patient and loving woman of God, she was baptized at Salvation Baptist Church and later was a Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church member. For 15 years, she managed the Days Inn Hotel of Slidell and later moved with her family to Jacksonville, Fla., and back to Louisiana. Funeral services will be Nov. 24 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 a.m., at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Slidell, with the Rev. Norman J. Farve officiating. Interment will follow in Salvation Cemetery in the St. Joe community. Brown’s Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ===================
