Survivors include his five nieces and nephew, seven great-nieces and five great-nephews, 13 great-great-nieces and 11 great-great-nephews, and a great- great-great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Anne Bennett, and three brothers and two sisters. The lifetime St. Tammany Parish resident was a firefighter in the forestry industry who served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Funeral service will be Nov. 29 at 1 p.m., with visitation starting at 11 a.m., at the D.T. Williams Funeral Home chapel, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Interment will follow at Crowe Cemetery in St. Tammany, with Sammy Ferguson officiating. Williams Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ===================
