Teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary, banker and store manager, she is remembered for her irrepressible and contagious good nature and infinite kindness by her family and friends. Wife of the late John (Buddy) Collier. Survived by her children, Wayne A. Collier, Craig E. Collier and Kim Mangerchine; grandchildren, Natalie Skinner, Shane Mangerchine, Amy Waldman, Virginia De la Torre, Jason Collier, Benjamin Collier, Carron Collier, Colleen Erwin and Cayne Collier; great-grandchildren, Austin Erwin, Grace Collier, Emily Collier, Kamdyn Skinner, Kealey Skinner, Fallon Breaux, Quinn Waldman, Titus Waldman, Collier Waldman, Isabella De la Torre, Gabriella De la Torre, Elaina De la Torre, Brittany Trosclair, Kylie Trosclair, Rory Trosclair, Brody Trosclair and Dezi Trosclair and countless friends and relatives. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Interment in Metairie Cemetery. Elaine asked that instead of flowers for her, please remember her by flowers or donations or simple acts of kindness to others. Today or whenever tempted to do a simple good deed for a friend or stranger, remember Elaine and follow through in her memory. Nothing could please her more. She was a lady that all will remember, asked for nothing from anyone, yet appreciated and cherished everything and everyone. ===================
