Eric John Fasske, 61, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.

Survivors include his brothers, Wayne, Barry and Dale; sister, Judy Chadwick, 
and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Caesar and Rose Mary Fasske.

The Slidell native served in the U.S. Army Europe Command military with the 
3/11th Blackhorse Regiment and spent his early years as a merchant seaman, 
sailing to all parts of the world. 

Over the past 30 years, the avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish welded 
pipelines and drilling platforms from Brazil to Alaska. He also enjoyed sharing 
his outdoor knowledge with family and friends.

Services will be announced at a later date.
