Earl James Jones Sr., 78, of Abita Springs died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Minnie Jones; children and a daughter-in-law, Lula 
Williams, Cynthia Comadore, Addie Jones, Earl Jones Jr., and Jeffrey Jones; 
five siblings and a brother-in-law, 11 grandchildren and 35 great-
grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, three aunts, an uncle and a host of 
nieces, nephews and others. 

The native of Lauderdale, Miss., was preceded in death by his parents, a 
brother and a sister.

The visitation will be Nov. 17 from noon to 12:45 p.m., with the funeral at 1 
p.m., at Rose Hill Baptist Church, 20105 Arthur Road, Covington.

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany is handling the arrangements.
