LAURENT

Willie “Bill” L. Laurent Sr., 81, of Abita Springs, died Nov. 1. 2012.

Laurent was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Picayune, Miss, and served in the U.S. Air 
Force.

He was proceeded in death by  his mother, Louella Laurent; his father, Viresse 
Laurent; a son, Amory Laurent; and his wife, Annie Beulah Laurent.

He is survived by six sons, Willie Laurent Jr., Wayne R. Laurent Sr., Rayond C. 
Laurent, Andre Cyprian, Richard Laurent and Chris Laurent; four daughters, 
Angela Laurent, Isabel Laurent, Melissa Laurent and Jackie Watson; and three 
daughters-in-law, Amanda, Mildred and Tonya.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grand children, brothers-in-
law, sisters-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 from 9-10 a.m. at Rose Hill Baptist 
Church in Covington. 

A funeral will follow with burial in Wilson Cemetery.

Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
