Peter William Nastasi, 24, passed away on November 23, 2012.

Peter was born in Metairie, LA on July 18, 1988 and lived in Covington, 
Louisiana for 20 years.

He is survived by his parents Kathleen (Kathy) and Peter Nastasi, III , his 
sister Kathryn Camille Nastasi, his grandparents Adeline and Peter Nastasi, 
Jr., his grandmother Irene Moncrief, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his grandfather William (Bill) Moncrief, from whom 
Peter got his love and talent for drawing, and his uncle Kevin Cole.

Peter attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from St. Paul’s School in 2006. 
He was a Dean’s List Senior at Southeastern Louisiana University studying 
Business. Peter played guitar and bass and loved to gather with friends to play 
music. He was an avid golfer and LSU sports fan. He loved watching LSU football 
games with his family and friends and attending LSU baseball games with his 
dad. Peter will be sorely missed by his close-knit and loving family and his 
friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 
West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA on Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph’s Abbey, 
75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA.

A private burial will follow mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the 
American Heart Association in memory of Peter.
