Lola Beatrice Palao, 72, of Slidell, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012.

Survivors include her children and son- and daughter-in-law, Debbie and Keith 
Prestwood, Cindy and Laura Palao, Eddie Palao Jr., and Steve and Claudette 
Eberly; grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Mandy, Jason and Kelly and 
Justin and Tabitha Overby, Tiffany, Chad, Lynda and Brittany Palao, Steffany 
and Corey Price, Jimmy, Merry Ann and Charles Goldman, and Jon, Corey and Angie 
Eberly; 17 great-grandchildren, and siblings and brother-in-law, Marlene and 
Gary Lyford, Billy Drewrey and Earlene Newsome. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Eddie Palao Sr.; parents, 
John and Bertha Drewrey, and siblings, Marie England, Dorothy Broyles, Shirley 
Allen, Mary Cantrelle and Wesley Junior Drewery.

A memorial service will be Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 
58516 Pearl Acres Road, Slidell, officiated by her grandson, Chad Palao.
