DELORES HINGLE PARKE, passed from this life on November 28, 2012 at the age of 
88. 

She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Harry Jr. and Jean Parke of Slidell, LA, 
Michael and Connie Parke of Prairieville, LA, Stephen and Kathy Parke of 
Chesterfield, SC, Gregory and Jane Parke of Mandeville, LA, and a host of 
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Harry L. Parke; mother 
Dorothy Clark Hingle, father George Hingle; sisters: Fay Hingle McWilliams, 
Adele Hingle; brothers: Walter Hingle, Jules Hingle; and a great-grandson Jacob 
Parke.

She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a gifted poet, having penned 
more than 1500 poems. She loved to inspire others with her words of faith, 
encouragement, and wit. She was a respected and faithful member of the First 
Pentecostal Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
A Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 6:00pm at the 
First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, 388 Robert Blvd, in Slidell.

A visitation will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Slidell, on Monday, 
December 3, 2012, from 9:30am until 11:00am with a Funeral Service at 11:00am 
at the church.

Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
