Survivors include his longtime love, Peggy Chesnut; children and their spouses, Natalee Pyatt and Milan Valuch, Christopher Cass and April Sparks Pyatt; grandchildren, Quincey and Keegan Pyatt; brother and sister-in-law, Everett “Skip” and Joyce Pyatt; niece, nephew and niece-in-law, Katherine and Aaron and Toni Pyatt, and grandnieces, Shelbi Rose and Aubrey. The longtime Old Mandeville resident was raised in the Hammond-Springfield area and born in San Angelo, Texas. The U.S. Army veteran was a retired antiques dealer who owned Cypress Knee Antiques in Old Mandeville. The onetime hospice volunteer was one of the original members of a coffee group that now gathers at Mandeville’s La Madeline Restaurant. A visitation will be Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, American Kidney Foundation or USO. ===================
