James C. “Buster” Sharp passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012.

Beloved husband of the late Genevieve Mizell Sharp. Father of Paula Sharp, Greg 
Sharp and the late Sharon Rogers. Father-in-law of Vickie Sharp and Sammy 
Rogers. Brother of Philip Sharp, Vic Sharp and the late Edith Loyd, Neva Lam, 
Finis Jones, Eunice Thomas, Veva “Pete” Pittman, Leonard Sharp and Royce Sharp. 
Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Age 81 years. A native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA. He served with 
the 7th Infantry of the US Army in the Korean War.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Baptist Church Rd., Covington, LA 
70435 on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 
10:00 AM until service time. 

Interment in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
