Shirley Jean Faye Stevens, 71, a longtime Mississippi Gulf Coast resident, died 
Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Helen Ruth and Billy Vincent 
Watkins of Bay St. Louis, Miss., James A. and Karen Murrell Gauley of Slidell, 
and Cynthia A. Arnold of Mandeville; her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie Faye 
and Mark Burge of Bristow, Okla., and six grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Faye and Doris Holden Schwartz; 
husband, Prentiss Stevens, and brothers, Elmer E., Ronald B. and Donald H. 
Faye.

Funeral services will be Nov. 28 at 3 p.m., with visitation starting at 2 p.m., 
at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, Miss. 

Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery in Hancock County.
