Leroy Anderson, 72, of Slidell died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012.

Survivors include his wife of the past 27 years, Phyllis Anderson; children, 
Michael and Mark Anderson and Mary Stone; stepson, Dwayne Hungerford; sibling, 
Eugene “Whitey” Anderson, and a grandchild, Barbara Brown. 

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank and Lillian Anderson, and 
parents, Frank and Elder Anderson.

The New Orleans native had been a Slidell resident since 1981. The retired 
sheet metal worker for the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 11 never "met a 
stranger” and enjoyed life to the fullest.

All services will be private.
