Born December 26, 1924 in New Orleans, Birdie Ann is the daughter of the late Rene Joseph and Bertha Ann Waguespack. Birdie Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Francisco Budd Bogran, her grandson Gregory Francisco Bogran and her nephew Patrick J Vizard. Birdie Ann is survived by her children Leslie Ann Bogran Southerland (Michael), Stephen Rene Bogran (Dorinda), Jeffrey Francis Bogran (Ann) ; her grandchildren Vaughan Raymond, Marley Renee, Isabelle Marie and Mae Catherine Bogran; her sister Emily and husband Anthony J Vizard, 5 nieces and nephews and 8 grandnieces and grandnephews. Birdie Ann was a graduate of Holy Name High School. A resident of Covington, LA for the past 53 years, Birdie Ann, along with her husband Frank, enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Together they played many many rounds at golf courses locally and around the country and fished waters both here and abroad. Birdie Ann and Frank also loved travel and visited many parts of the world throughout their life together. But Birdie Ann’s first love was playing bridge. One of the highlights of her life was being a member of and playing bridge with her partner Barbara at the club in Lacombe. Birdie Ann loved animals and always had a couple of dogs and cats as her constant companions. We’re sure that Birdie Ann’s heaven includes being once again united with Rhett, BA, Belle, Bogie, Rebel and KayKay.
