Cardaro entered eternal life on December 17, 2012 at the age of 86. He was the son of the late Gasper Cardaro and Elizabeth Kries Graziani and stepson of James Graziani. He is also preceded in death by his great grandson, Gavin Arnaud. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Emma Lou Littlejohn Cardaro; his three children, Terry “Mike” Cardaro Sr. (Jo Ann), Vicki C. Lagman (Buddy), Lori C. Eusea (Terry); half brother, Philip Cardaro; his eight grandchildren, Nikki Arnaud (Ronnie), Amanda Buzali (Jack), Terry Cardaro Jr. (Beth), Frank Lagman, Jacob Lagman (Trisha), Hannah Eusea, Olivia Eusea, and Andre’ Eusea; his six great grandchildren, Landon, Trent, Gage, Claire, Nickolas, and Katerina; many beloved sisters-in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, the Scalise children, and special friends, Al Latcher and Teedy Duplantis. Frank graduated from S.J. Peters High School, then proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Shubrick, which was hit by a Kamikaze plane in the South Pacific during WWII. He resided in St. Bernard Parish for 41 years and moved to Slidell after Hurricane Katrina. He was a dedicated employee of Southern Scrap Material Co, Ltd., for 33 years. Frank enjoyed sports, camping, fishing, square dancing, and fixing anything for anyone. He attended Covenant Baptist Church where he enjoyed the services and fellowship. He also enjoyed the company of his very special caretakers, Joyce, Gretchen, Jessica, Lettie, and the dedicated staff of St. Joseph Hospice. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Covenant Baptist Church, 890 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA, 70458, on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation at the church on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Baptist Church. Frank’s family praises God for his sustaining promise “in His time and in His way”. ===================
