Michael Means Colburn passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the age of 
61.

Beloved husband of Martha Patton “Molly” Colburn. Loving father of Michael Paul 
Colburn and Morgan Elizabeth Colburn. Son of Loretta Means Colburn and the late 
Chesley Burgess Colburn. Brother of Sherry Colburn. Brother-in-law of Joe and 
Kim Patton. Uncle of Joey, Liz, Samantha and Natalie Patton. Son-in-law of Park 
and Carolyn Patton.

Mr. Colburn received his BA and MBA from the University of Alabama. He was in 
the insurance industry for the past 35 years. Mike was a loving father, an avid 
golfer and an Alabama Crimson Tide fan and supporter.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service 
on Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, 335 Asbury 
Dr., Mandeville, LA 70448 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Friday from 
10:00 AM until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Colburn 
to be made to St. Timothy United Methodist Church.
