Jewell Moore Cordell, age 83 of Covington, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 
9, 2012. 

She was born July 20, 1929 in Hickory, LA to the late Joseph B. Moore and the 
late Ida Crawford Moore.

She is the beloved wife of the late Louis C. Cordell with whom she established 
Cordell Furniture of Covington and is survived by three sons: Jim, Ronney and 
Rickey Cordell; one brother, Maxie Moore; six grandchildren: Brent and Craig 
Cordell, Jessica Cordell Keating, David Cordell, Holly O’Keefe King, Bonnie 
O’Keefe and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one 
grandson, Christopher Cordell and three brothers, Glynn, Floyd and Freeman 
Moore.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 
W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Thursday at 12:00 Noon.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will immediately follow services.

Box 2753 Covington, LA 70434.
