Frances “SiSi” Jean Cross died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Martin H. and Gayle Cross Jr.; 
nephews, Gregory and his wife, Yvette, and Jeffrey; great-nephew, Blake Cross; 
many cousins and her “big sister” cousin, Angela Lolan, whom especially loved 
her, and many Roquette Lodge friends, especially Joyce Hock, Edie Ziegler and 
Sister F. Truxillo. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosamary T. and Martin H. Cross Sr.

She was born in New Orleans, resided in Chalmette until Hurricane Katrina, was 
a resident of Mandeville and lived at the Roquette Lodge. The beautiful spirit, 
one of God’s special children, departed this earthly life after battling colon 
cancer for four years. She went to the heavenly father and is at peace in 
heaven. 

A special thanks to Notre Dame Hospice and all who participated in her care.

The funeral Mass will be Dec. 17 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 
a.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington. 

Interment will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery, New Orleans.
