Theora Olivieri Fitzmorris passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the age 
83 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

Beloved wife of Lawrence C. Fitzmorris for 61 years. Mother of David Lawrence 
Fitzmorris (wife Barbara), Paula Gail Ellis (late husband Joseph), Linda Kay 
Maureau (husband David), and the late Brenda Jane Fitzmorris. Grandmother of 
David Louis Fitzmorris, Christopher Lawrence Fitzmorris (wife Fawn), Nicholas 
Shawn Fitzmorris (wife Melanie), Ashley Lynn Maureau, Kaylee Marie Maureau and 
Ashlie Gail Ellis. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Loyola University in 1950, served as a Medical Technician 
and retired from Sunrise Pediatrics. She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist 
Church. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the 
past 25 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 
on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 PM 
until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time. 

Interment in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Alzheimer’s 
Association, P.O. Box 6417, Alexandria, LA
