Survivors include her children and their spouses, Greg and Rebecca Hanks of Sulphur, Scott Hanks of Walker, and Rachel and Ken Hoag and Andrea and Joe Metzger, all of Slidell; 13 grandchildren and their spouses, including Mandi Stanga, Jamey and Matthew Hoag, Kayleigh and Joel Rinkevich, Jordan and Andrew Cline, Julia and Alexander Lewis and Sarah Metzger, and six step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Curtis. The Jennings native was beloved by her family and friends for her love of life and open spirit. The accomplished cook and talented crafter was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church who enjoyed traveling, dancing, decorating and gardening. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 in Jennings. Carrying her to her final resting place were Brady, Justin and Christopher Hanks, Jamey and Matthew Hoag, Andrew Cline, and Alexander and Lawrence Lewis. ===================
