Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2012/st1212.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Charles Robert Lange, Jr., a retired carpenter, peacefully left his earthly restraints on Christmas morning 2012, one day before his 73rd birthday. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Monique Lange and Leilani Lange Bolds; his adored grandchildren: Corey Marrero and wife Melissa, Dominick Marrero, Elizabeth and Evan Egana; his caring eight sisters and their families: Leah Chase, Eleanor Ferrouillet, Grace Smith, Sylvia Lange, Yvette Goins, Adonicia Dawson, Eula Toca, and Janice Waddy; his devoted brother, Hayes Lange; his loving companion Sammie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hortensia Lange, Sr., his sister Cleo Baham, and the mother of his daughters, Lona Frederick. A native of Madisonville, Charles was an avid hunter, fisherman, archer, wood carver and turner, dog trainer, gardener, and cook. He loved his family and was a devoted friend with a ready smile and joke for most. Special thanks go to Dr. Charles Balette, his tireless advocate; his CARE Physical Therapy team, especially Brian; the professional, caring nurses and staff on Stations 2 and 2 West at STPH; Drs. Bean, Saux, Aduli, Ordoyne, and Jenkins; his speech therapists, Ann,Kathy, and Dia; the SLU Speech/Language Clinic, especially Aimee; and, in his final days, the caring Hospice of STPH team. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will follow in Madisonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Lange to be made to Hospice of St. Tammany or the charity of your choice. ===================
