EDWARD F. LEWIS, SR., of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 
at his home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved husband of Jo Ann Fontenot Lewis.
Father of Lisa Lewis Sylvest, Edward F. Lewis, Jr. (Renee’) and Christina 
Lewis.
Son of the late Wilfred E. Lewis, Sr. and Mable Bourg Lewis.
Brother of Linda Lewis Phillips, Wilfred Eugene Lewis, Jr. “Bubby”, Freddy 
Lewis, Brenda Lewis Deoche, Judy Lewis Drury and Steve Lewis.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren; Jake, Krystle, Brittany, Ernest, Joshua, 
B.J., Victoria and Breanna; and 4 great grandchildren.

Age 64 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 1986. Mr. 
Lewis was an Air Condition Technician for Lewis Air Conditioning of Slidell and 
was an avid bowler.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 
11:00am until 1:00pm.
